For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of travel. I was always that person who daydreamed of foreign lands and unfamiliar cultures, spending hours crafting travel itineraries that would challenge my perceptions and deepen my understanding of the world. Every spare moment was dedicated to browsing guidebooks and reading about faraway lands. I was convinced I’d have the opportunity to visit them.
Over the following twenty years, I counted down the days to my next holiday, with a big countdown affixed to my bedroom wall. But as soon as I arrived at these incredible destinations, I’d dread the thought of returning home.
After my military service, I made a life-changing decision: I wanted my family to explore the world. We embarked on this adventure for a few years, and it was an incredible journey. Now, with my kids attending in-person school, I’ve decided to turn my passion for travel into a business. After all, I’ve always been the one scheduling all the girls’ trips, so why not make it official?
I knew that exploring new countries was something that made me truly happy, but I didn’t know how to do it for more than just a few weeks a year. It seemed impossible.
